Description

At each biennial meeting, CFH awards a paper prize to two students who present their work during the conference. One prize goes to the best undergraduate paper and the other is given to the best graduate student paper.

Prizes includes:

  • $100 cash
  • Publication of the paper in CFH's journal, Fides et Historia
  • A certificate as well as a formal award announcement at the biennual meeting and in the CFH newsletter

Requirements and Award Procedures

Papers must be research essays of no more than 10,000 words, including notes. All paper submissions will go through a formal process of evaluation by a panel of established scholar members of CFH and the editorial board of Fides et Historia. This committee will choose the prize winning papers and announce the awards, along with two individuals who will recieve honorable mentions, at the biennual meeting.

Before being publishing in Fides et Historia, the papers will go through the normal review and revision process.

Deadline: Conference papers must be proposed by the deadline indicated in the call for papers. Accepted papers must then be submitted in full, in electronic form, to the conference organizer(s) by August 15 to be considered for the prize.
